ConocoPhillips Indonesia - Deploys IONIK's Asset Integrity Manager
ConocoPhillips Indonesia (COPI) operates 12 offshore platforms in the West Natuna Sea. They are establishing a detailed structural integrity management system, which will be underpinned by IONIK’s Asset Integrity Manager (AIM) software.
Critical asset information, down to a very detailed level, will be aggregated and integrated within AIM. This will include inspection reports, inspection history, modification information, survey data, video footage, anomalies, drawings, and other asset-related library items for COPI's offshore fixed structures.
AIM was installed in COPI’s offices in 2005, and contains all of the onshore and offshore pipeline risk-based inspection data for over 120 pipelines. The asset information and inspection data was gathered as a result of a 2 year project awarded to IONIK via PT. Wood Group Indonesia through a competitive tender process.
This new project will bring together the onshore and offshore pipeline data, together with the structural asset information, to form one central ‘integrity information repository’ with AIM. This repository will provide the basis for the ongoing analysis and management of the integrity of COPI’s onshore and offshore assets. AIM ensures that COPI has immediate access to, and full ownership and control of critical asset integrity information.
Scope (Dec 2009 to March 2010):
- Setting up structural integrity data framework
- Configuring the asset structure within AIM
- Uploading / integrating past inspection data
- Updating procedures
Key Technical Issues:
- Maintaining very high data quality
- The tight project time-frame
