Santos Indonesia - Oyong Pipeline and Grati Gas Plant
IONIK Consulting has been awarded a contract by Santos (Sampang) Pty Ltd (Indonesia) to develop the corrosion and integrity management plans for the offshore pipeline (56km) and the onshore Grati Plant in the Oyong field. The plans will be developed in accordance with Santos’s EHSMS requirements and are to prepare the plant for start-up and ongoing operations.
Due to the short timeframe, Santos also requested that IONIK review the overall integrity management systems, and assist with identifying and managing integrity issues during start-up and early operation, as part of the Ready For Start Up (RFSU) processes.
Santos (Sampang) Pty Ltd operates the Oyong oil and gas field located in the Madura Strait between Madura Island and East Java. The Oyong Phase 2 development, with first gas in September 2009, utilises a 56km x 14” pipeline to transport wet gas from the offshore wellhead platform to the Onshore Processing Facility (OPF) at Grati.
Project Scope:
- Corrosion overview and Integrity Management Plans for Oyong pipeline
- Separate Integrity Management plans for 13 systems within the onshore Grati gas plant
- Integrity Audit and Bridging requirements for Grati Plant RFSU
