Apache North Sea Limited - Deploys WGIM's Asset Integrity Manager
Apache North Sea Limited (Apache) has been operating in the Forties Field in the United Kingdom sector of the North Sea since 2003. Apache have joined other leading global oil and gas operators in choosing to deploy WGIM's Asset Integrity Manager as their preferred solution for managing the anomaly and inspection data of subsea structural and pipeline assets in the Forties Field.
Apache’s implementation includes the conversion and consolidation of data from numerous different historical inspection databases dating back over 10 years. AIM's sophisticated data import capabilities and flexible asset information configuration will make this process go more smoothly.
AIM will then be used to manage and track anomalies, develop and plan offshore inspection workscopes and manage the resulting inspection data.
AIM’s companion product, Inspection Manager will be mobilised offshore as the online data acquisition package for future inspection campaigns, commencing with 2011 summer campaign.
Critical asset information, down to a very detailed level, will be aggregated and integrated within AIM. This will include inspection reports, inspection history, modification information, survey data, video footage, anomalies, drawings, and other asset-related library items for Apache's Forties Field.
Scope:
- Configuring the asset hierarchical structure within AIM
- Converting, importing and integrating past inspection data
- Updating procedures
Key Technical Issues:
- Numerous legacy data sources
- Maintaining very high data quality
- The tight project time-frame
